Become a state tested nurse aide (STNA) and enter one of the fastest growing careers in America! This 75 hour nurse aide course prepares you to take the written and skills test to become a state tested nurse aide. Candidates must pass both parts of the test to be identified as state tested and listed on the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry which is controlled by the Ohio Department of Health.

Our program prepares you to perform assigned functions of personal care to people in their residence, long-term care facility, hospital, assisted living or hospice care center. Becoming a state tested nurse aide (STNA) in Ohio requires you to complete these two steps:

1) successfully complete state-mandated 75 hour training & competency evaluation program/TCEP (59 hr classroom instruction & 16 hr clinical experience) to be eligible for consideration to become a STNA in Ohio, AND take and 2) pass the state’s (written & skills) exam to become a STNA.

The Nurse Aide Program is approved by Ohio Department of Health.
